iRacing is new to the OU Esports developments for Fall 2022 and founded by incoming freshman Mario “Super Mario” Merenda. This conversation began after NACE Starleague announced partnership with NASCAR to create and facilitate a collegiate only iRacing league. Before Mario even started at OU he helped to develop policy, compliance, and established the foundation of something we are all really excited to see grow. Keep your eyes on the OU Esports iRacing team as we enter into formal competition with an OU Esports branded and licensed race car built on the passion of an ambitious and capable freshman.
