Welcome to our “Streaming Entertainment Program” development page. Streaming Entertainment is the esports answer to growing fanbases, building a community, and showcasing entertainers that reflect on gaming and its subcultures. Our program is the equivalent seen on live sports entertainment, such as talk shows, interviews, and high-tier gameplay. This program works as the other half of our Shoutcasting Program to provide daily content. Shoutcasting represents official coverage of our sanctioned intercollegiate matches, scrims, and competitions while streaming entertainment is casual live streams produced by various members of the organization. From Super Mario Brothers speedruns to video game recipe recreations, our streamers are free to use their creativity to produce unique and interesting content. We always have new ideas in the works, such as a Sooner Esports podcast, and new students that join this program.

ACADEMIC PULSE
OUR STREAM AND SCHEDULE
This team streams across multiple platforms but is primarily centered around leveraging Twitch.tv. If we’re live, the video placeholder next to this text will show it, otherwise you can click on that video to see the schedule of upcoming streams.
INFLUENCER DEVELOPMENT STUDENT LEADERSHIP
The Influencer Development Coordinator is charged with setting the standards for streamers conduct on live broadcasts, scheduling the week of programming, and being a source of knowledge on ethics, technical issues, and execution for the team.

ALUM & STUDENT STREAMERS

The Influencer Development (streamer) team was part of our original strategic planning but will be consolidated with our Streaming and Production programs to form the new department of “Creative Content” in the near future. All of these efforts fall under the banner of “Sooner Esports” which is an extension of The University of Oklahoma department of Esports and Co-Curricular Innovation alongside “OU Esports” and the “OU Gaming Club”.
