(Fall 2018) OU Esports Extra Life Charity Event Raises $2,908

This past weekend the OU Esports Association helped raise money for Extra Life and managed to raise $2,908 during the event.  For those that missed the article about Extra Life: Extra Life is a charity event that raises money for Children’s Miracle Network, which helps thousands of children that need medical treatment. The event host various tournaments as well as a live stream going on constantly throughout Friday and Saturday. The winners of the Extra Life tournaments are below:

While the Extra Life event may be over, the fundraiser is not. The fundraiser will continue going on as bits and donations raised through the OU Esports stream will go directly to the fund. If you missed this event there’s still plenty to come, including the Bedlam event against OSU this Friday, featuring more fun events to come, and will continue the Extra Life charity event.
