In four short months, Sooner Esports has grown so much. We started as a small team of four, working hard to get out three articles a week for our readers. Between the end of our semester at OU, jobs, extracurricular, and of course, gaming, it was not an easy task.
Throughout the summer, we’ve been redesigning a lot of things behind the scenes and preparing for a new school year. We recognize that there are thousands of incoming students and hundreds who are interested in the topics we write about here at Sooner Esports and we are trying to create opportunities for those who are interested in working with us to grow Sooner Esports.
That being said, I’m excited to announce that we have added five new members to our team, all with different skills and knowledge about the gaming industry, to bring you more exciting content. Please be patient during our transition, as we are working to make our site better for us as a team and our readers.
We are going to continue pushing two articles a week until we are all comfortable with our transition into the new school year, and we will start to focus on our back-to-school efforts for the first few weeks of the new semester. The Esports Association at OU has so many fun things planned for its members and we can not wait to be bringing you the details soon!
